Content Writing is writing for specific content like a blog, article, or white paper. Content writing shares a story along with more detailed information to educate readers. Content writing takes on a longer form to engage readers for a longer amount of time.

3. Technical writing

Technical writing is perfect for someone who already loves technology and knows a lot about how things work. Technical writing allows you to use your skills to write easy to understand guides, user manuals, how to’s, FAQ’s, and web pages for for technical products.

4. Product Description Writing

Everything you see being sold online has a product description. All products have to have a description about what it is to give quick information to a customer as well as improve SEO so people find the product on search engines.

5. Blog Writing

Blog writing falls within content writing, but has become a huge freelance job. If you enjoy writing and doing research, you can work on blogs (like this) for people who are providing a service or sharing information. Blogs can be as short as 250 words while others can be over 1,000 words.

6. Proofreader

If you’ve always loved grammar, being a proofreader is an easy job to get started. Content and copywriting are huge industries, but not everyone who writes is able to proofread their work. A proofreader will catch and fix any spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.

7. Transcriptionist

Transcriptionists transcribe audio into written text for many purposes from podcasts, videos, medical meetings, and more. It’s crucial to have good listening skill and be a fast at typing to make the job easier. It’s a job that can be done with no previous experience.

8. Scopist

A scopist is a proofreader for court reports. During a court hearing, a stenographer will write out the court hearing. After this, a scopist will go over the reports and fix the report from questionable materials and formatting with proper punctuation and formatting.

9. Ghost writer

Ghost writers are hired by individuals who want their name to be on a book or article, but not actually write this. A ghost writer will write the content based on the requirements of that person and their name will not appear on the published work. It’s very similar to the other writing jobs.

Female Modeling may seem intimidating, but this can be done by someone who’s had no experience. There is traditional modeling for high end brands, but there are modeling jobs for local businesses and online platforms.

Similar to female modeling, male models are needed for local business and online platforms. They can even be used just for certain body parts like hands to hold certain products.

The sales industry requires a lot of moving parts, from generating leads to meeting with those leads. Appoint setters can help salespeople who have found leads set up times to talk to those leads. It can also be applied to other industries.

20. Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants help individuals or companies with administrative type work. This can be sending emails, setting up meetings, following up with emails, and even providing creative assistance. It’s great for someone who is very organized and good with computers.

EDUCATION

21. Tutor

If you have any special education or are a teacher looking to make extra money, online tutoring is a great option for a freelance job. You can help students from any age range on any topic you are comfortable with. There are platforms that connect you with students.

22. Foreign Language Teacher

If you are bi-lingual, you can use your skills to teach others another language. This can be helpful for people learning a language to talk to someone who also knows that language. There are platforms that can connect you to people wanting to learn the language you know.

Data entry is a job that takes raw data, usually on paper, and enters it into a database, to digitize the data for companies to use to analyze. Data may also be entered from phone calls or recordings.

25. Food and Grocery Delivery

If you have a car, an easy side job to get started on is food and grocery delivery. Most grocery stores have grocery delivery as an option because of COVID, and most restaurants allow delivery. You will need to use your smart phone to get orders and GPS to know where to go, but other than that, you just have to drive.
