Adding a Service

Ready to add your service on Inspectionally to make it available to the buyer community? Here are guidelines to follow so you can provide useful information that potential customers may need in making a decision about purchasing your service.

 Adding a Service

Before you can add a new service, you will need to create an account and activate it.

  1. Enter the all the required information in your Profile Settings.
  2. From your Profile Welcome Page (inspectionally.com when logged in), click on “Add a Service” or the “GET STARTED” button.
  3. Or from the Dashboard, click on the “GET STARTED” button.  Follow the steps to create your service after adding all the details needed.

Steps to adding a service

Service Title.

i.                    Enter a title that best describes the service you are offering. Use relevant keywords that buyers will likely search for.

ii.                  Ensure that your title is clear and will help buyers understand what you are offering.

Choose a category.

i.                    Choose a category best suited to the service you offer.

ii.                  If no category exactly matches your service, choose the closest one.

Choose a subcategory.

Subcategories help you narrow things down. Select the one that fits best.

Important: Inspectionally may, at its discretion, change your service to another category or subcategory we deem more suitable.

Enter search tags.

i.                    Search tags are essentially keywords. They make it easier to classify your service and help people find you.

ii.                  Tags entered should be related to your service.

(Optional) Instant Delivery Page.

This page is for services in which the delivery and completion is by instant download of a file available after buyer’s purchase.

Most service delivery and completion on Inspectionally are UNLIKELY to be through this method.

Service Packages & Pricing

Packages serve to give buyers an idea of potential costs. BUT since requests will vary based on buyer needs, you will quote for each service based on the nature of the request.

Use service packages to give users an idea of what various offers potentially cost based on the benefits provided in each package. In the end you will quote for each request.

Packages. There are 3 packages levels you can use to give users an idea of cost based on benefits offered:

i.                    Starter

ii.                  Standard

iii.                Premium

Differentiating the packages based on things like benefits offered, revisions allowed (if any), finish time, etc., is exactly up to you. Simply add the package description for each package.

Prices. You decide what price to set for any service you offer on Inspectionally. There is a minimum price of $20 for any service offered on the platform, which is displayed when you add a service.

Edit the minimum price based on the actual cost of the service. For Example, if your price for basic used car inspection is $99, your Starter package will be $99.

Package Pricing

You use packages to give buyers an idea of cost based on the differences in benefits offered in the service. Usually, the Starter is the basic price, the Standard is in-between and the Premium is for enhanced benefits.

Fixed Pricing

If you prefer not to show package examples, to buyers, you can use the Fixed Price feature to simply display one pricing.

Important Note on Pricing:

Each price will be displayed to buyers as “Starting at”, which lets buyers know that prices could change due to their specific requests. The eventual price to be paid by your buyer will be based on the custom quote you create based on their request.

Delivery time. Add a delivery time for your service. Since buyer requests vary, discuss with the buyer and agree on the delivery time. Using the Add Extra feature (see below) is a good way to display additional cost, e.g., for a next-day delivery.

Extras. (Optionally) add service extras and charge accordingly.

i.                    Think of extras as bonus services or additions you can offer to enhance the service. Examples are a faster delivery or other perks you can come up with.

ii.                  Click “Add Extra” and type what you’d like to add to your service.

Describing your service

Your description helps the buyers decide if they should get your service.

·         Include detailed and useful information about your offer and its benefits.

·         Be as clear as possible so it is easy to understand.

·         Do not add your personal contact information.

·         Do not provide a link to any website.

Additional guidelines for service description:

       i.          Service information MUST be posted primarily in English.

ii.                  You may add some other languages as well BUT whatever is said in the additional language MUST also be written in English.

iii.                If it is necessary that a buyer must log onto an external website to complete the order, the information about that website should be provided in the Service Requirements screen.

iv.                Your service(s) must always comply with our Terms of Service.

FAQ

Use the Frequently Asked Questions feature under the service description to insert questions that buyers may have and the answers to them.

  • Click the Add FAQ link to insert a buyer’s likely question.
  • Add an answer to the question.
  • Click the Insert button to add.  Repeat the above steps to add additional questions and answers.
  • When done, click Save & Continue to go to the Requirements screen.

Requirements (what you need to get started)

Let buyers know what information you need from them in order to start the work they hired you for. For example, if inspecting a car, you may want to know how and where to see the car. Another example, if hired monitor work in progress, you will need to know the location, etc.

Publish the Service.

After you have provided all the necessary information, it’s time to publish the service.
